AUGUSTA, Ga. – Fred Couples, the sentimental favorite in these parts long before he made the Champions Tour his personal ATM, looked better than his playing partner on Monday atfternoon, but he still wasn’t giving himself much of a chance this week.
‘My chance to win? No, that would be a pipe dream,’ Couples said.
As for his high-profile playing partner Tiger Woods, Couples was a tad more optimistic.
‘It was a Monday practice round. He wasn’t sharp,’ Couples said. ‘But I expect him to do fine.’
