Tiger Woods has committed to play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, Fla., from March 22-25.

Woods is a six-time champion of the event, taking four-consecutive titles from 2000-03 and winning with dramatic birdies on the 72nd hole to win in 2008 and ’09. Last year, Woods placed 24th.

The world No. 16 is completing a three-week stretch of golf this week at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral. He will take a week off as the PGA Tour goes to Tampa for the Transitions Championship before teeing it up in what used to be his hometown event.

The event will likely be Woods’ last before competing in the Masters. In all four years Woods won at Augusta National, he has tallied at least one PGA Tour victory before taking the green jacket.
