Grant Sherfield shot 9-of-17 from the field in Friday’s 97-93 loss to the Jazz, finishing with 23 points, four rebounds, two assists, three steals, and five 3-pointers in 27 minutes.
With Jordan Goodwin appearing to be done for the summer due to a sore knee, Sherfield made another start at the point for the Suns. While the undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma did a good job scoring-wise, his two assists were counted by a game-high five turnovers. Barry Brown, whose minutes have also been boosted due to Goodwin’s absence, added 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes.

Grant Sherfield started and played 24 minutes in Monday’s 73-70 win over the Heat, posting a lint of eight points (4-of-10 FGs), one rebound, five assists, and three steals.
With Jordan Goodwin held out due to a sore knee, Sherfield slid into the starting point guard role on Monday. While the perimeter shot was an issue, with the former Oklahoma standout missing all four of his 3-point attempts, Sherfield was able to do a solid job of running the Suns’ offense. Barry Brown Jr. also started, finishing with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 24 minutes. Depending on how the Suns handle Goodwin for the remainder of the week in Las Vegas, Brown and Sherfield would be first in line to benefit if he sits.
