Johneshwy Fargas went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers in the second game of a doubleheader.
Fargas picked up an RBI infield single in the sixth inning, but that merely drew the Cubbies to within 6-2 on the scoreboard. They would manage one more run in the contest -- via a Patrick Wisdom solo homer -- but no more. In seven games with the Cubs this season after being designated for assignment by the Mets in mid-July, Fargas is still looking for his first extra-base knock.
