Brewers placed RHP Josh Lindblom on the 10-day injured list with a right knee effusion.
Linblom is the second prominent pitcher the Brewers have lost due to injury in the last several hours, joining Brett Anderson, who is slated to miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury. It’s unclear when the 33-year-old righty sustained the injury, but it seems like he’s going to be shut down for a bit. There was a chance he could’ve been stretched out to take Anderson’s spot in the starting rotation, but that won’t happen now. There should be an update on his status in the coming days.
