Graterol hasn’t appeared in the majors since the 2019 campaign. He signed a minor league contract with Arizona back in - and has been released after hitting .255/.299/.358 with two homers and three steals in 38 games for Triple-A Reno. The 33-year-old backstop could wind up latching on somewhere else as emergency catching depth.

Graterol spent the 2021 campaign at Triple-A Buffalo in the Blue Jays’ organization, slashing .293/.355/.359 with two homers across 186 plate appearances. The 32-year-old backstop will give the Diamondbacks some additional catching depth entering spring training.
