Justin Wright-Foreman exited the Orlando bubble so that Utah could bring in another coach.
Teams have a limited number of personnel they’re allowed to have, and Wright-Foreman simply wasn’t part of the rotation, so this was a strategic move prior to their first-round series vs. Denver.

Miye Oni had three points with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 10 minutes vs. the Nuggets.
Oni played 30 minutes as a starter on Friday, simply because the Jazz rested multiple starters in a back-to-back scenario. His role predictably decreased today, but unlike fellow reserves Rayjon Tucker and Justin Wright-Foreman, it looks like Oni has established himself as a reliable rotation player.

Jarrell Brantley and the Jazz have come to terms on a two-way contract.
Utah has filled both of its two-way contract slots, with Justin Wright-Foreman also coming to terms on his deal Tuesday. Brantley, who was selected with the 50th overall pick in last month’s draft, appeared in two games (hamstring injury) at the Las Vegas Summer League and averaged 4.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. The College of Charleston product saw more action in Salt Lake City, averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in 27.5 minutes per game. As for Wright-Foreman, the second round pick out of Hofstra averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 assists, 1.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in the Salt Lake City summer league.

The Jazz selected Justin Wright-Foreman at 53 in the draft.
He was a bucket-getter at Hofstra, averaging 27.1 points in efficient fashion with a 63.7 TS%. He dominated CAA for his whole career with two CAA Player of the Year awards, and he might do some damage in the G League to start his pro career. There are defensive concerns and he played a lot of zone in his time on Long Island.
