    “I think he would like to come back and play,” said Crennel. “I think he likes the situation.” The Chiefs have shown interest in several veterans, including Aubrayo Franklin, but they’ve informed the free agents that no signing will occur until after next month’s draft.

    Gregg hasn’t made an announcement, but the Oklahoman writes that he plans to go that route. Gregg earned a Super Bowl ring as a practice squad player on the 2000 Ravens squad, then spent the next decade as a top-notch run-plugger. The 35-year-old still holds value as a situational player should he reverse gear and opt for another season.
