Colts signed TE Kyle Miller, formerly of the Jaguars.
Miller has ingrituing size at 6-foot-5, 257 pounds, but is likely being signed as a long snapper. He’ll compete with Justin Snow and Matt Overton in camp.
  • FA Tight End
Colts promoted TE/LS Kyle Miller from their practice squad.
24-year-old Miller played college ball at Mount Union along with Pierre Garcon and Cecil Shorts. He’s a tight end/H-back type who can also long snap. The Miller addition indicates Coby Fleener (shoulder) won’t return in Week 11.
  • FA Tight End
Dolphins claimed TE Kyle Miller off waivers from the Colts.
A former teammate of Cecil Shorts and Pierre Garcon at Mount Union, Miller will add special teams depth in Miami.
  • FA Tight End
Colts waived TE Kyle Miller and activated OG Justin Anderson from the reserve/PUP list.
The Miller move indicates the Colts are truly optimistic about Coby Fleener’s (shoulder) chances of playing in Week 12 against the Bills. Anderson is an undrafted free agent out of Georgia. He’s a power-blocking guard prospect.
  • FA Tight End
    Dolphins waived TE Kyle Miller.
A third-year undrafted free agent, Miller has made one career appearance. Per the Miami Herald, he’s a candidate for the practice squad. The Dolphins are thin at tight end, so it stands to reason Miller will be promoted at some point this season.
  • FA Tight End
    Chargers signed TE Kyle Miller.
Miller made the Chargers out of training camp but was waived last week. Adding Miller is not a great sign for Ladarius Green’s (concussion) availability for Sunday. DL Mitch Unrein was released in a corresponding move.
  • FA Tight End
    Chargers waived TE Kyle Miller.
The Chargers signed Miller last week as insurance for Ladarius Green, who was dealing with concussion symptoms at the time. Antonio Gates is slated to return from his PED suspension in Week 5 and the Chargers don’t have the roster space to keep five tight ends. Miller played just three snaps last week.
  • FA Tight End
    Falcons waived TE Kyle Miller.
Miller spent last season on the practice squad. He hasn’t appeared in a game since 2012 and is unlikely to crack a roster even if he catches on elsewhere.
