    Jaguars signed QB Kyle Sloter.
C.J. Beathard and Jake Luton will be the competition that Sloter has to summit to get an NFL job. It’s not an impossible task, but Sloter’s time with the USFL Breakers wasn’t exactly dominant either as he posted a 9-to-11 TD/INT ratio. Sloter likely will just be a camp arm, but perhaps he’ll impress enough to get a 53-man slot on a depth chart without an established backup.

  • FA Quarterback
Free agent QB Kyle Sloter will try out for the Jaguars.
Sloter is fresh off a stint with the New Orleans Breakers in the USFL. During his time with the Breakers, Sloter threw for 1,799 yards, nine touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 57.7% of his passes. Sloter has bounced around the NFL since first entering the league with the Broncos in 2017, having also spent time with the Vikings, Cardinals, Lions, Bears and Raiders. He’s likely nothing more than a camp body at this point and wasn’t particularly great in the USFL.

  • FA Quarterback
Vikings declared QB Kyle Sloter, CB Cameron Dantzler, RB Wayne Gallman, G Wyatt Davis, NT Michael Pierce, and DE Tashawn Bower inactive for Week 17 against the Packers.
With Kyle Sloter inactive and Kirk Cousins on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Sean Mannion will get the start as expected with rookie Kellen Mond backing him up. It’s an unfortunate blow to the entire Vikings offense during fantasy championship weekend, but managers with Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook should start their studs regardless.

  • FA Quarterback
    Raiders waived QB Kyle Sloter.
The Raiders signed Sloter to a reserve/future deal in January. His release leaves Nathan Peterman as the Raiders’ only quarterback behind Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota.

  • FA Quarterback
Cardinals signed QB Kyle Sloter to their practice squad.
He was slated to work out for Detroit on Monday but obviously that won’t be necessary now. Sloter had a monster preseason in Minnesota, shredding defenses for 443 yards and four touchdowns on 39-of-51 passing (76.5 percent). Undrafted out of Northern Colorado in 2017, Sloter has yet to play a regular season snap.
  • FA Quarterback
    Vikings waived QB Kyle Sloter.
The Vikings are supposedly trying to trade their No. 3 quarterback. Best of luck. The third-year UDFA did have an excellent summer, completing 39-of-51 passes (76.5 percent) for 443 yards (8.7 YPA), four touchdowns and one interception. Sean Mannion will back up Kirk Cousins.
  • FA Quarterback
Vikings declared QB Kyle Sloter, WR Stacy Coley, CB Tramaine Brock, RB Mack Brown, C Pat Elflein, DE Tashawn Bower and DT Shamar Stephen inactive for Week 17 against the Bears.
Although they have lost some key players for the season, the Vikings are reasonably healthy heading into the NFC playoffs.
