Seahawks re-signed DE Lazarius “Pep” Levingston.
Seattle is switching out an underachieving former LSU defensive lineman in Al Woods for an undersized LSU defensive lineman in Levingston. This one will likely see time primarily on special teams.

Bucs signed DT Pep Levingston off the team’s practice squad and waived OL Derek Hardman.
Levingston was among the Seahawks’ final cuts leading up to this season. He was a seventh-round pick out of LSU in 2011. Hardman was just re-signed last week.

Seahawks selected LSU DE Lazarius Levingston with the No. 205 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
Under-sized, Levingston likely doesn’t have the strength to be an NFL starter. He is a solid defender against the run, but struggles to get to the quarterback. He showed progress in each of his final two final seasons at LSU, however, and it’s not outside the realm of possibility he could continue to develop into a solid rotational lineman.

Seahawks waived DE Lazarius “Pep” Levingston.
Levingston was under-sized coming out of LSU, but he did well to survive until final cuts. He’ll be a candidate for Seattle’s practice squad.

Seahawks signed No. 205 overall pick DE Lazarius Levingston to a four-year contract.
Concerns about Levingston’s strength and pass-rush ability caused him to slip to the seventh round. As the No. 4 end on the Seahawks right now, he’ll have an uphill battle to make the team.
