Dodgers signed RHP Markus Solbach to a minor league contract.
Solbach, 27, was signed out of Germany in 2010 by the Twins, and he has pitched in both the Minnesota and Arizona organizations. The Dodgers are giving him another shot after he put up ridiculous numbers in the Australian Baseball League this winter with an ERA of 0.43 and 55/7 K/BB ratio in 43 innings for the Adelaide Bite. The level of competition there isn’t close to the MLB’s, but he’s an interesting name to keep an eye on this spring.
