Patriots signed OG Martez Ivey.
Ivey (6’5/315) was a four-year starter on Florida’s offensive line, seeing action at left guard and left tackle and earning second-team All-SEC from the conference’s coaches. The bottom fell out on his stock when Ivey bombed his Pro Day with 5.82 “speed,” miserable 8.16 three-cone time, and only 15 reps on the bench. With 36 1/8-inch arms, Ivey has enough length and sheer body mass to potentially find a home as a power-scheme guard, but his athletic limitations are a major concern for his transition. He is competing for the Patriots’ final line spot.
