Matt Mooney is signing a 10-day contract with the Knicks via the hardship exception.

While Mooney will bring some more depth to New York’s depleted backcourt, it’ll be interesting to see if Tom Thibodeau allows him to play. Like most of these 10-day signees, this is a wait-and-see situation in most leagues.

The Grizzlies announced on Wednesday that the team signed guard Matt Mooney.

Mooney averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals in 31.0 minutes while shooting 38.6 percent from three-point range as a senior at Texas Tech last season. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Grizz, and will likely the 2019-20 season in the G League.
