Patriots signed Penn State C Matt Stankiewitch.
Stankiewitch (6-foot-2 3/4, 302) started 27 games for the Nittany Lions, 25 at center and two at left guard. Short armed (32 1/2") and not much of an athlete (5.43 forty, 24" vertical), Stankiewitch figures to max out as a versatile reserve who’s limited to the interior line. The Patriots are short on depth along the line.
