Red Sox reassigned RHPs Austin Adams, Isaiah Campbell, and Noah Davis to minor league camp.
Adams, Campbell and Davis were all signed to minor league deals before the start of spring. All three will likely be depth pieces with Triple-A Worcester to begin the 2025 season.

Red Sox signed RHP Austin Adams to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Adams, 33, spent the 2024 campaign in the Athletics’ organization where he registered a 3.92 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and a 53/23 K/BB ratio across 41 1/3 innings at the big league level before elbow tightness ended his season prematurely in mid-August. As long as he’s healthy, Adams should function as a nice depth addition for the Red Sox’ bullpen.

Athletics sent RHP Austin Adams and INF Armando Alvarez outright to Triple-A Las Vegas.
Adams, 33, had a 3.92 ERA in 41 1/3 innings for the A’s before missing the final quarter of the season with elbow tightness. He’ll probably have to settle for a minor league deal this winter.

Athletics placed RHP Austin Adams on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to August 14, with right elbow tightness.
As expected, Adams is hitting the shelf, and the Athletics have activated Dany Jiménez off the 15-day injured list to take his spot on the roster. If everything goes well, Adams could return to the Oakland bullpen before the end of the season.

Athletics’ manager Mark Kotsay told reporters that Austin Adams will be placed on the injured list on Sunday with tightness in his elbow.
Adams wasn’t used during Saturday’s game, so it’s unclear when exactly the injury issue cropped up for the 33-year-old hurler. Expect the A’s to make a corresponding move to add a fresh arm to their bullpen prior to Sunday’s series finale against the Giants.

Mason Miller will go on the injured list with a fractured finger on his non-pitching hand after punching a table following Monday’s game.
At least he didn’t use his pitching hand. Quite a number of self-inflicted injuries this year, though. Miller pitched a perfect inning in a 4-0 win Monday, so who knows what he was angry about. Lucas Erceg will likely close for the A’s for the next few weeks, but he and fellow option Austin Adams are both candidates to be traded. Of course, so was Miller, and while this would seem to make a deal less likely, it doesn’t necessarily rule it out; teams aren’t going to be scared off by a broken finger on his left hand.

Austin Adams was pulled from Saturday’s outing against the Astros due to tightness in his neck.
A’s skipper Mark Kotsay told reporters after the game that the issue is believed to be mild and that Adams shouldn’t miss any time. The 33-year-old right-hander has been a key cog in the Athletics’ bullpen this season, registering a 2.60 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 25/7 K/BB ratio across 17 1/3 innings.

Athletics acquired RHP Austin Adams from the Mets for cash considerations.
The 32-year-old signed a non-guaranteed split contract with the Mets before being designated for assignment earlier this weekend. He has been added to the A’s 40-man roster but isn’t fantasy-relevant as he isn’t a factor in picking up saves in Oakland.

Mets sent RHP Austin Adams outright to Triple-A Syracuse.
The right-hander had been designated for assignment earlier in the week but passed through waivers unclaimed, and he’ll continue to serve as organizational depth for the Mets. He’ll be in big league camp as a non-roster invite during spring training.

Mets designated RHP Austin Adams for assignment.
The 32-year-old hurler was signed to a non-guaranteed split contract back in November. The Mets needed to free up a spot on their 40-man roster to sign Jake Diekman on Tuesday though, and unfortunately Adams was the odd-man out this time around. Assuming he passes through waivers unclaimed, he should still head to spring training with the Mets as a non-roster invitee.
