Tigers signed RHP Brad Markey to a minor league contract.
The 28-year-old hurler spent the first five and a half seasons of his minor league career in the Cubs organization before finishing the 2019 campaign in the Reds system. He had a brutal 2019 overall, compiling a 6.33 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 62/27 K/BB ratio across 91 innings between Double-A and Triple-A. He’ll had minor league rotation depth for the Tigers and can continue to be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Sunday’s 96 pitch-outing was his longest since joining the team on July 7. The 23-year-old has had no trouble adjusting to High-A after beginning the year with Low-A South Bend.
