Marlins acquired RHP Brandon Miller, OF Brayan Hernandez, RHP Pablo Lopez, and RHP Lukas Schiraldi from the Mariners for RHP David Phelps.
Miller, a sixth-round pick in 2016 out of Millersville University, holds a 3.32 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 145/30 K/BB ratio over his first 157 1/3 professional innings -- all in Low-A ball. The 22-year-old starter was recently ranked the No. 16 prospect in the Mariners’ minor league system by MLB.com.
