Low Single-A Delmarva’s Chris Vinyard went 3-for-7 and hit his third homer of the year in a 15-inning game Thursday.
Vinyard is batting .300/.352/.540 in 50 at-bats. The 21-year-old is one of the Orioles’ most interesting position prospects because of his 25- or 30-homer potential. Still, he doesn’t offer much in the way of defense and he’ll probably have to cut down on the strikeouts to make it.

Low Single-A Delmarva’s Chris Vinyard homered twice and doubled in Thursday’s game.
Vinyard, settling in as one of the Orioles’ top position prospects, is batting .299/.343/.575 with eight homers and 34 RBI in 32 games. The 21-year-old could be a future first baseman or DH for the club.
