A third round pick in the 2009 Draft, Joseph was the Reds’ Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2010. The 24-year-old has been dominant across the Double- and Triple-A levels this year, going 8-3 with a 1.72 ERA in 44 relief appearances. He will be in Kansas City’s bullpen before the end of the year.

The 25-year-old southpaw registered a 2.33 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 87/30 K/BB ratio in 69 2/3 innings this summer between three different levels of the Royals’ minor league system. He’s now protected from the Rule 5 Draft.

Joseph posted an impressive 1.80 ERA and 14/3 K/BB ratio over 10 innings of work this spring, but it wasn’t enough to crack the Royals’ strong bullpen. The 25-year-old will serve as relief depth in the minor leagues.

Acquired from the Reds along with J.C. Sulbaran for Jonathan Broxton last season, the 25-year-old left-hander will provide nothing more than bullpen depth. Joseph went 4-3 with a 3.95 ERA in 47 relief appearances for Omaha.

Joseph was only up with the big club for a couple days and tossed two scoreless innings in his lone appearance. He returns to a 3.42 ERA at the Triple-A level.

Joseph has appeared in two games with the Royals this season and owns a 3.42 ERA at the Triple-A level. The 25-year-old left-hander will provide bullpen depth.

Joseph was up with the big club briefly earlier this season but didn’t appear in a game. He’s put up a 3.91 ERA with 28 strikeouts over 23 relief innings at Omaha. The lefty is taking Wilking Rodríguez’s spot in the bullpen.

Joseph was called up from Triple-A last week and was rocked for six runs on five hits and a walk over two-thirds of an inning Monday in his lone appearance. Louis Coleman will take his place on the active roster.

He cleared waivers after being designated for assignment and will remain in the organization. Joseph has made all but one appearance this season at Triple-A, posting a 5.45 ERA and 35/28 K/BB ratio over 33 innings.

Joseph got rocked in his one relief appearance with the Royals this season, but he’s a left-hander and only 26 years old so he might find some interest on waivers.
