Enqrique Gonzalez gave up four runs -- one earned -- over six innings Sunday in a loss to the Marlins.
Chad Tracy’s error led to three unearned runs in the fourth, but since Gonzalez walked two in that inning and a career-high five overall, he deserves a lot of the blame. The Diamondbacks would be better off with Juan Cruz in the rotation.

As a result of Thursday’s doubleheader, the Diamondbacks will start Enrique Gonzalez Monday on three days’ rest.
Juan Cruz will go on Tuesday. NL-only leaguers more in need of wins than ERA could gamble on Gonzalez’s two starts this week. He’ll get the Giants and Marlins.

Enrique Gonzalez was charged with six runs in five innings Thursday in a loss to the Cubs.
Poor defense had a lot to do with a three-run first inning, but Gonzalez didn’t get a lot better from there. Despite an easy schedule of late, his ERA is up to 5.40. Things begin to get more difficult now, so it’s probably time to drop him in NL-only leagues.

Enrique Gonzalez surrendered two runs and four hits in five innings Monday in a no-decision against the Giants.
It may be too late to matter. If Brandon Webb can make his start Friday, Gonzalez is probably going to be bounced from the rotation. He’s 3-3 with a 5.27 ERA in 12 starts and a relief appearance.

Enrique Gonzalez is scheduled to start on Tuesday against the Giants.
Gonzalez will remain in the rotation until Juan Cruz returns from the disabled list. He could have some value in NL-only leagues.

Enrique Gonzalez pitched one-hit ball over seven scoreless innings to beat the Giants on Tuesday night.
Just a little better than what Russ Ortiz was giving the Diamondbacks. Gonzalez is 2-0 with a 1.64 ERA in three starts and a relief appearance. He’s not a very good pickup in mixed leagues right now, but he should be used in NL-only leagues.

Enrique Gonzalez was roughed up for seven runs in five innings versus the Rangers today.
Gonzalez had pitched well in three starts and a relief appearance entering the day, posting a 1.64 ERA and 20/4 K/BB ratio. However, he walked two while striking out just one and yielding nine hits today. He’s still capable of being a useful asset in NL-only leagues, so show patience with the youngster. He gets the Angels later this week.

Diamondbacks recalled RHP Enrique Gonzalez from Triple-A Tucson.
Gonzalez gets to the return to the majors after just four days because Juan Cruz was placed on the DL. Gonzalez may rejoin the rotation next time through, and it’s possible that he’ll have some value in NL-only leagues.

Enrique Gonzalez is tentatively scheduled to start Friday against Atlanta.
Gonzalez looked great in his major league debut on Sunday. “I thought he was great,” manager Bob Melvin said. “You can see why everybody’s so high on him. He popped it up there 95 (mph) one time, has good sink, actually has more pitches than I realized.

Enrique Gonzalez surrendered two runs and four hits in six innings to pick up his first major league victory Saturday against the Braves.
Gonzalez struck out eight while outpitching John Smoltz in the first game of a doubleheader. He now has a 2.25 ERA in two starts since being recalled. Similar results next week against the Mets would make him worth picking up in NL-only leagues.
