Rangers acquired RHP Enrique Segura from the Phillies for RHP Daniel Robert.
Segura, who was signed out of the Dominican Republic in 2022, opened this season with a 3.18 ERA and a 19/8 K/BB in 17 innings for Low-A Clearwater. He was one of the Phillies’ better low minors pitching prospects, though he might wind up as a reliever in time.
