Ismael Munguia finished 2-for-2 with three steals off the bench Friday versus the Rangers.
That makes him 5-for-7 with a homer this spring. Munguia, 25, is a contact hitter who came in at .292/.356/.391 with 16 steals in 75 games in Double-A last year. He’s not really viewed as a prospect, but he’s someone who could surface as a bench player with his ability to put the bat on the ball and play solid defense.
