11-year MLB veteran Jace Peterson has taken a job in player development with the Brewers.
Peterson never announced his retirement, but this would seem to be the end of the 34-year-old. He hit .226/.317/.335 with 42 homers over 887 big-league games with the Padres, Braves, Yankees, Blue Jays, Brewers, A’s and D-backs. Baseball-reference puts him at 3.3 WAR in his three seasons with the Brewers and -0.5 WAR for the rest of his career.
