Jackson Holliday went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Friday in a loss to the Blue Jays.
Holliday’s no-doubter to right field came off Blue Jays reliever Austin Voth in the fourth inning. His second round-tripper of the season traveled 406 feet and carried a sky-high 34 degree launch angle. The 22-year-old former top prospect is hitting .259 (7-for-27) with two homers, five RBI and three steals in 10 games since making his season debut back on May 19.

Jackson Holliday went 2-for-3 and blasted his first home run of the season on Friday as the Orioles triumphed over the Tigers.
Holliday broke a 4-4 tie in the fourth inning with his 337-foot (93.5 mph EV) two-run shot off of Jack Flaherty. He also led off the third inning with a single and rode home on Pete Alonso’s three-run bomb. With his two-hit attack on Friday, the 22-year-old infielder is now 2-for-7 (.286) through his first three games on the season.

Jackson Holliday played third base for the first time as a major leaguer after coming off the bench Wednesday against the Rays.
Holliday hit for Weston Wilson in the sixth, played one inning of third base and then moved to second after Colton Cowser entered the game in Jeremiah Jackson’s place and Blaze Alexander moved from the outfield to the infield. Holliday played three games at third base during his rehab assignment for a broken hamate bone. His only other experience there was two games in 2023. Holliday will probably be back at second base Friday after the off day on Thursday.

Jackson Holliday went 0-for-2 against the Rays on Tuesday in his season debut.
Holliday struck out and flew out in a pair of at-bats before being lifted for pinch-hitter Jeremiah Jackson to face lefty reliever Ian Seymour in the eighth inning of his season debut. The 22-year-old second baseman is going to need some time to get back up to speed after spending nearly two months of the shelf at the start of the year recovering from a hamate fracture.

Jackson Holliday is at second base and hitting seventh in his season debut on Tuesday against the Rays.
Holliday will make his long-awaited return to Baltimore’s lineup after a lengthy recovery process from surgery to repair a hamate fracture back in spring training. The 22-year-old former top prospect also figures to see action at third base with Jordan Westburg out for the season following elbow surgery. It’s probably going to take a couple weeks for Holliday to knock off some rust following an extended layoff from big-league game action, but he’s certainly talented enough to be an extremely impactful fantasy contributor based on his raw talent alone.

Orioles activated 2B Jackson Holliday from the 10-day injured list.
It’s challenging to forecast Holliday making a significant fantasy impact right away since he didn’t exactly tear the cover off the ball during his latest rehab stint in the upper minors. The 22-year-old former top prospect experienced several setbacks during his rehabilitation process and has been on the shelf since undergoing surgery to repair a hamate fracture back in spring training. It may take time to shake off the metaphorical cobwebs, but Holliday should be an impactful fantasy contributor at second base this season, but only if he’s finally put the hand issue to bed. He figures to spend some time at both second and third base with the Orioles over the remainder of the year.

Matt Weyrich of the Baltimore Sun reports that Jackson Holliday (hand) is with the Orioles ahead of their series with Tampa Bay.
Holliday had hamate bone surgery on the same day in the spring that Francisco Lindor did, and has yet to make his season debut. He’s had a few setbacks during his rehab assignment and has played 22 rehab games so far, hitting .176/.291/.284 with a 27 percent strikeout rate over that stretch. We would not be running to add him in fantasy leagues, but would prefer to wait and see what the contact quality looks like, given the surgery and subsequent setbacks.

Jackson Holliday (hand) went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks on Friday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Norfolk.
Holliday played the entire contest at third base as he continues to ramp up after dealing with some hand discomfort a few weeks ago coming off surgery to repair a hamate fracture. The 22-year-old former top prospect figures to be ready to make his season debut by the end of May or early June.

Jackson Holliday (hand) went 0-for-4 on Tuesday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Norfolk.
Holliday played six innings at third base in his fourth contest since restarting a minor league rehab assignment last week. The 22-year-old struck out twice in this one and has gone hitless in 10 at-bats over those four games. Not great. He’s been out all season working his way back from surgery to repair a hamate fracture in his right wrist.

Orioles will move INF Jackson Holliday (hamate surgery) and OF Heston Kjerstad (right hamstring strain) to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday to continue their rehab assignments.
This will be Holliday’s second stint at Triple-A after leaving a game on April 21st with renewed soreness in his wrist. Both players technically have a path to playing time if they hit well at Triple-A since Jeremiah Jackson has cooled off, and none of Blaze Alexander, Colston Cowser, or Tyler O’Neill are staking their claim to everyday playing time.
