    Jackson Holliday’s father, former MLB outfielder Matt Holliday, said during an appearance on Foul Territory that Jackson’s wrist soreness is “not serious” and he could resume rehab games again this weekend.
    Matt Holliday mentioned that Jackson was compensating after his hamate bone surgery, which caused some soreness on the opposite side of his wrist. He rested and went back to Baltimore to meet with the medical team, where they confirmed there were no new issues. Jackson should begin a rehab assignment this weekend with Single-A Delmarva and then could go back to Triple-A Norfolk after the weekend. With Jeremiah Jackson thriving with the Orioles, Holliday could battle Coby Mayo for playing time when he eventually returns.

    Jackson Holliday is being shut down for a few days due to soreness in his wrist.
    Holliday will get some time off as he continues to recover from the hamate fracture he suffered in his wrist. The 22-year-old should return to action shortly, and has a chance to be back with Baltimore near the early portion of May.

    Holliday took infield drills at Camden Yards ahead of Monday’s series opener against the Diamondbacks during Triple-A Norfolk’s off-day. The 22-year-old, who has been on the shelf working his way back from a hamate fracture in his wrist, has spent the last couple weeks on a minor league rehab assignment that will apparently continue through the end of this week. It’s mostly been Jeremiah Jackson filling in at second base of late for the Orioles and he’s done a nice job, hitting .318 (7-for-22) with one homer over his last seven games.

    Jackson Holliday (wrist) went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base on Wednesday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Norfolk.
    Holliday remains without a definitive timetable to return to Baltimore as he continues to work his way back from a hamate fracture in his wrist. He told David Hall of The Virginian-Pilot that he’s still not feeling 100 percent, which might explain why he hasn’t been summoned back to the big leagues yet.

    Baltimore is giving Holliday some additional ramp-up time on his rehab assignment after missing most of spring training recovering from a hamate fracture in his wrist. The 22-year-old second baseman should be ready to make his season debut at some point in the near future.

The 22-year-old former top-overall prospect, who is working his way back from a hamate fracture in his wrist, figures to return to Baltimore for his season debut at some point later this week.

    Holliday played nine innings at second base and recorded a 99.6 mph exit velocity on an eighth-inning double. The 22-year-old former top prospect figures to be ready to make his season debut at some point later this week. He hit the injured list at the end of spring training after suffering a hamate fracture earlier in camp.

    Holliday is the last of the spring training broken hamate trio yet to return. Playing in his first rehab game is a great step towards that, poor results notwithstanding. A return to the Orioles within the next week or so when’s eligible to return from the 10-day IL looks incredibly likely. Blaze Alexander is expected to retreat to the bench when Holliday is ready to return.

The 22-year-old former top prospect, who was officially placed on the 10-day injured list earlier on Wednesday, will get a couple rehab contests under his belt before making his season debut.
