Angels signed LHP Jake Kalish to a minor league contract.
The 30-year-old southpaw spent the past seven seasons toiling in the minor leagues for the Royals. He posted a miserable 6.94 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 106/35 K/BB ratio over 96 innings at Triple-A Omaha during the 2021 season. He split his time in 2021 between the rotation and the bullpen and will add pitching depth in the high levels of the minors for the Halos.
