Rockies signed OF Jake Snider to a minor league contract.
Snider logged two years in the Pirates’ minor league system before spending last season with the Lake Country DockHounds of the independent American Association where he finished with a stratospheric .303/.406/.457 triple-slash line with nine homers and 17 steals in 358 plate appearances. The 24-year-old outfielder will get another shot in affiliated ball this season with Colorado.
