    The two right-handed relievers were in Orioles camp this spring on non-guaranteed minor league contracts. Link allowed six hits and three runs in 3 1/3 innings.

    Link compiled a 4.24 ERA, 11 saves and a 63/32 K/BB ratio over 68 innings this past season with Triple-A Albuquerque in the Dodgers’ organization. The 27-year-old right-hander appeared in four games with Los Angeles during the 2010 season. He could surface in the O’s bullpen at some point.

    Link, 23, was a 2005 26th-round pick. He had a 3.07 ERA and a 45/11 K/BB ratio in 41 innings as a reliever for Single-A Lake Elsinore. Consider him a long shot to reach the majors.

    Dodgers acquired RHP Jon Link and RHP John Ely from the White Sox for outfielder Juan Pierre.
    Link, 25, was selected in the 26th round of the 2005 draft. He has a 3.87 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 293 minor league innings and posted a 3.99 ERA and 66/27 K/BB at the Triple-A level in 2009.

    Link was 11-2 with a 3.26 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 127 innings for the Wichita Wingnuts of the independent American Association. He hasn’t pitched in the majors since 2010 and is doubtful to get a shot in Miami.

    Link was acquired in the deal that sent Juan Pierre to the White Sox after the 2009 season. He was 1-2 with an ERA of 3.99 and a WHIP of 1.46 in 48 games with Triple-A Charlotte last year.

    Appropriately enough, Link was the only Dodgers’ pitcher to not allow a run during Tuesday’s wild loss to the Reds. The 26-year-old right-hander was just recalled from Triple-A over the weekend, but he’ll make room on the roster for Ronald Belisario, who is expected to be activated from the restricted list on Wednesday.
