Morales

Morales played all of last season for the Rockies in Triple-A Albuquerque, slashing .258/.317/.429 with 14 home runs and 61 RBI in 93 games. The 29-year-old has thrown out 51% of Triple-A base stealers since 2019 and will function as organizational depth.

Morales spent the last seven years in the Braves’ minor-league system. The 27-year-old backstop struggled mightily last season, posting a meager .145/.160/.217 batting line with two homers in 157 plate appearances at Triple-A Gwinnett. He’ll bolster the Rockies’ organizational catching depth this season.
