Astros acquired OF Juan Ramirez from the Tigers.
Ramirez is the player to be named in the deal that sent Justin Verlander to the Astros in exchange for a bevy of prospects. Ramirez, an 18-year-old outfielder from the Dominican Republic, hit .301/.385/.362 with no homers, 10 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 46 games with the Tigers’ Gulf Coast League rookie squad in 2017.
