    Cubs released 3B Kevin Padlo
Padlo was traded to Chicago from the Royals earlier this month and never made it to the big leagues. The 28-year-old former prospect has bounced around the past couple years at the Triple-A level, making a handful of appearances in the big leagues as an emergency stopgap.

Royals signed 3B Kevin Padlo to a minor league contract.
Padlo was recently released by the Dodgers after hitting .216/.340/.380 in 47 games in Triple-A. The 27-year-old has hit .111/.158/.167 in 57 major league plate appearances for five teams since debuting in 2021.

    Dodgers released INF Kevin Padlo.
Padlo played sparingly for Triple-A Oklahoma City this season after latching on with Los Angeles back in late January as emergency infield depth. The 27-year-old should be able to find another opportunity somewhere else with a more realistic path to at-bats in the big leagues.
  • LAD 3rd Baseman #37
Dodgers signed INF Kevin Padlo to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Padlo, 27, spent the 2023 season in the Angels’ organization where he slashed .261/.384/.451 with 13 homers, 50 RBI and nine stolen bases over 406 plate appearances at Triple-A Salt Lake. He saw just eight plate appearances at the big league level, going 1-for-8 (.125) with a double and a run scored. He’ll function as extra infield depth for the Dodgers and can safely be ignored for fantasy purposes.
  • LAA 3rd Baseman #37
Angels sent INF Kevin Padlo outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Padlo passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier this week. The 27-year-old infielder has gotten into three games this season for Los Angeles.
  • LAA 3rd Baseman #37
Angels designated INF Kevin Padlo for assignment.
Padlo just had his contract selected from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday, but now he gets booted off of the 40-man roster following the additions of C.J. Cron and Randal Grichuk from the Rockies. There’s a good chance that Padlo will once again pass through waivers and accept an outright assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake.
  • LAA 3rd Baseman #37
Angels selected the contract of INF Kevin Padlo from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Padlo gets the call from the minors as Taylor Ward heads to the injured list on Sunday. Padlo was with the team earlier this season, hitting .125/.125/.250 in three games. He should serve as a bench option for the Angels and isn’t fantasy relevant at this time.
  • LAA 3rd Baseman #37
Angels sent INF Kevin Padlo outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Padlo passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment following the addition of Mike Moustakas. He’ll remain with the organization as depth.

Angels selected the contract of INF Kevin Padlo from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Padlo gets the call to the majors to provide Los Angeles with some extra infield depth after Anthony Rendon (wrist) landed on the injured list ahead of Tuesday’s Freeway Series opener against the Dodgers. The 26-year-old got into seven games last year between the Pirates, Giants and Mariners.

  • FA 3rd Baseman #36
The Angels plan to select the contract of Kevin Padlo from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.
He’ll help to add depth in the infield for the Angels with Anthony Rendon heading to the injured list. The 26-year-old has slashed .273/.396/.555 through 34 games at Triple-A Salt Lake this season.
