Marlins signed OF Marty Costes to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

The 28-year-old outfielder spent the first six years of his minor league career in the Astros’ organization — most recently slashing .252/.366/.389 with a pair of homers, 19 RBI and seven stolen bases over 197 plate appearances at Triple-A Sugar Land in 2023. He’ll add outfield depth for the Marlins.
