Diamondbacks signed RHP Matt Cleveland to a minor league contract.
The 23-year-old hurler was a 12th round draft choice by the Mets back in 2016. He logged just 9 2/3 innings during the 2021 campaign, registering a 1.86 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 11/7 K/BB ratio between Class-A St. Lucie and the Mets’ Rookie League affiliate. He’ll add organizational pitching depth for the Diamondbacks.
