Rays acquired C Matt Dyer and RHP Tommy Hunter from the Mets for LHP Rich Hill.
Dyer, 23, was a fourth-round pick in 2020 and has posted a .781 OPS with seven homers at the Low-A level this season. He was not ranked by MLB.com among the Mets’ top 30 prospects.
