The Dodgers have activated reliever Paco Rodriguez from the 15-day disabled list, reports Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Rodriguez hasn’t pitched since August 3 due to a strained teres major muscle. He will be available during tonight’s game against the Giants.

Rodriguez hasn’t pitched much in the majors this season and he’s put up mediocre results, sporting a 4.35 ERA over 10 1/3 innings. He had similar results with Triple-A Albuquerque, as he posted a 4.40 ERA in 28 2/3 innings. He was fantastic for the Dodgers last season, and they hope the lefty can rediscover that magic as the club attempts to widen its one-game lead over the Giants in the NL West.
