MLB investigation shows Marlins pitcher Jarred Cosart illegally gambled on sports, but did not bet on baseball
MLB has concluded its investigation into allegations that Marlins right-hander Jarred Cosart gambled on sports, releasing the following statement:
That’s a lot of legalese, but it seems to suggest MLB proved Cosart bet on other spots but did not bet on baseball.
This whole thing came to light publicly last week when screenshots showing Cosart talking about betting “large” were tweeted. Cosart responded by first deleting his tweets and then deleting his entire account. And then the next day he claimed he was hacked.
