Yesterday I saw a post about baseball fans getting unfortunate tattoos to honor the teams they root for. This morning I wake up to this:

On the one hand: it’s not permanent. And it probably didn’t hurt as much to get this as a tattoo would. On the other hand, there is an abundance of pain on display in this picture and taking so much time and effort to honor the Cubs is a special kind of sickness that may be even more permanent than ink under one’s skin.
