Blue Jays manager John Farrell announced this morning that Rickey Romero will start on Opening Day. Only twelve more and he’ll be a Hall of Fame candidate!

Seriously though, I like Romero. He faces tons of tough lineups in that division and, partially because the Jays get less coverage than just about any decent team in the game, he may be one of the more underrated young starters in the game. Not saying he’s fantabulous or anything, but he is underrated. One of those guys who can dominate in any given start even if he isn’t consistently dominant. I tend to really like guys like that.
