    Padres released RHP Nick Duron.
Duran was traded to the Padres from the Giants back in late April and didn’t end up making it back to the majors for San Diego. The 27-year-old right-hander made one relief appearance last year for the Phillies.

Giants optioned OF Heliot Ramos to Triple-A Sacramento; reassigned INF Armando Alvarez, OF Vaun Brown, OF Clint Coulter, RHP Nick Duron, INF Tyler Fitzgerald, C Ricardo Genovés, RHP Trevor Hildenberger and LHP Erik Miller to minor league camp.
It’d be nice to see Hildenberger reemerge as a useful reliever, but no one here is particularly likely to make much of an impact in San Francisco this season. Ramos made his major league debut last April, but he’s not yet ready for the majors after hitting .227/.305/.349 in 108 games Triple-A last season.

Giants signed RHP Nick Duron to a minor league contract.
Duron spent the 2022 campaign in the Phillies organization -- and was even elevated for the club’s series in Toronto -- allowing two hits while striking out one in his lone inning of work. He spent the rest of the season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley where he posted a 2.77 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 63/29 K/BB ratio over 48 2/3 innings. He’ll function as additional bullpen depth for the Giants.

Phillies optioned RHP Nick Duron to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Duron was up with the big league club to provide bullpen depth for their series against the Blue Jays in Toronto. He worked a scoreless inning while allowing a pair of hits and recording a strikeout in Wednesday’s series finale.

Phillies selected RHP Nick Duron from Triple-A Lehigh Valley as a substitute player.
This is part of a string of transactions to replace the handful of unvaccinated players ahead of the Phillies’ two-game series at Toronto. Duron will likely be sent back down to Triple-A on Thursday.

Phillies signed RHP Nick Duron to a minor league contract.
Duron recorded a serviceable 4.50 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 43/24 K/BB ratio across 42 innings (38 appearances) between Double-A Arkansas and Triple-A Tacoma in the Mariners’ minor-league system last year. The 25-year-old righty will add some organizational relief depth for the Phillies entering next season.
