Rockies acquired RHP Nick Garcia from the Pirates for OF Connor Joe.
Garcia, 23, was a third round draft pick by the Pirates from the 2020 draft. He spent the 2022 season at High-A Greensboro where he registered a 3.66 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 109/46 K/BB ratio over 113 innings in 25 appearances (23 starts). He’ll add some much needed organizational pitching depth for the Rockies.
