Astros purchased the contract of RHP Reggie Harris from Newark of the Atlantic League and assigned him to Triple-A New Orleans.
Yeah, that Reggie Harris. A 1987 first-round pick of the Red Sox, Harris last appeared in the majors in 1999. He had a 4.06 ERA as a reliever in the Atlantic League, so he’s not much of a candidate to be called up to Houston.
