TJ Brock struck out all three batters he faced for Scottsdale of the AFL on Thursday.
Brock had some shoulder woes and was limited to 11 1/3 innings in the minors this season, but he’s pitched two scoreless frames and struck out five for the Scorpions to date. The 2022 sixth-round pick out of Ohio State has a good chance of seeing some time in the Jays pen next season if he remains healthy. He has a 4.24 ERA in 76 1/3 career minor league innings, but that comes with a 39% strikeout rate.
