Giants acquired RHP Tanner Andrews from the Braves for cash considerations.
Atlanta plucked Andrews away from the Marlins in the MiLB Rule 5 Draft on Wednesday, and he’ll move on to yet another organization here on Thursday. The 26-year-old right-hander was limited to four appearances at Double-A Pensacola in 2021 because of an elbow injury that led to him undergoing Tommy John surgery in July. He probably won’t be fully recovered until late 2022.
