Angels transferred C Travis d’Arnaud to the 60-day injured list.
There’s no timetable for d’Arnaud to return after hitting the injured list with plantar fasciitis back on May 7. The 37-year-old backstop will be on the shelf until at least mid-July following the procedural move.

Travis d’Arnaud (foot) remains without a timetable for a return.
The Angels placed d’Arnaud on the injured list last weekend with plantar fasciitis, and the backstop has been using a scooter to get around. He told reporters that he’ll have a better idea of a timeline once he’s able to put weight on the foot. In the meantime, Logan O’Hoppe and Sebastian Rivero will continue to be the catching options.

Angels placed C Travis d’Arnaud on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 7, with right foot plantar fasciitis.
D’Arnaud joins Logan O’Hoppe on the IL, leaving Sebastián Rivero as the Angels’ primary catcher for now. The 37-year-old d’Arnaud was hitting .200/.300/.314 in 40 plate appearances.

Travis d’Arnaud was removed from Wednesday’s game against the White Sox with a foot injury.
The Angels are already without starter Logan O’Hoppe (wrist), so they’re going to need to bring up some additional catching depth, even if d’Arnaud manages to avoid a trip to the injured list. The 37-year-old backstop took White Sox rookie southpaw Noah Schultz deep for a three-run homer before leaving Wednesday afternoon’s contest in the fifth inning. He’s set to undergo further testing prior to Friday’s series opener against Toronto.

Logan O’Hoppe (wrist) told reporters he anticipates missing a couple weeks.
O’Hoppe hit the injured list with a fracture in his left wrist over the weekend. The 26-year-old backstop suffered the injury when he was hit by a foul tip during Saturday’s game against the Royals. It’ll be a combination of veteran Travis d’Arnaud and Sebastian Rivero handling the catching duties in his absence.

Logan O’Hoppe left Saturday’s game against the Royals due to left wrist irritation.
He was hit by a foul tip. This sounds like a day-to-day situation, but since the Angels don’t have much flexibility to send down someone and add a third catcher, they’ll probably put O’Hoppe on the IL if they think he’ll be unavailable for more than a day or two. Travis d’Arnaud replaced O’Hoppe, who was 0-for-3 on the night.

Angels placed C Travis d’Arnaud on the 7-day concussion injured list.
The 36-year-old backstop was hit on a backswing during Thursday’s ballgame. He’ll be shelved until he can work his way through the concussion protocol. Chad Wallach was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to take his place on the Halos’ active roster.

Travis d’Arnaud smacked a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning on Sunday as the Angels eked out a one-run victory over the Athletics.
The 36-year-old backstop made the most of his only at-bat in the ballgame, delivering an RBI double off of Osvaldo Bido that broke a 3-3 tie and proved to be the difference in the ballgame. On the season, he’s hitting .201/.260/.349 with six homers and 21 RBI in 227 plate appearances.

Logan O’Hoppe is on the bench in favor of Travis d’Arnaud for a second straight game Monday.
Both Angels catchers had brutal months of August, with O’Hoppe’s .363 OPS actually topping d’Arnaud’s .337 mark. O’Hoppe still figures to finish out the year as the Angels’ starting catcher, but he’s been enough of a disappointment offensively and defensively this year that it’s worth questioning whether he should be handed the job in 2026.

Travis d’Arnaud hit a pinch-hit walk-off single to give the Angels a 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.
With the score tied at 5-5 in the ninth inning, d’Arnaud singled to left to give the Angels the win after coming off the bench. The 36-year-old is hitting a disappointing .234/.279/.423 on the year, but he’ll be thought of fondly for at least a day after the walk-off knock.
