The family of Bryan Clauson has released a statement confirming plans for a public celebration of the sprint racer’s life at Kokomo Speedway on August 24.
Clauson died last Sunday from injuries sustained while racing in a midget race in Kansas the previous night at the age of 27.
The three-time Indianapolis 500 starter and dirt/short-track veteran’s passing sparked an outpouring of support and messages to his family and fiancee, Lauren.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Clauson family expressed its thanks before confirming that a public celebration of Bryan’s life would take place at Kokomo Speedway on August 24 at 1pm.
