NASCAR announced Wednesday they would not penalize Martin Truex Jr. or Jimmie Johnson following inspection infractions at Chicagoland Speedway. Also announced no more P2 or P3 level infractions. Instead, teams must fail inspection by at a P4 level to receive a penalty.
Jeff Burton weighed in on the changes during NASCAR America and said while he was a little surprised, it came down to fairness.
