Kyle Busch fastest in final Bank of America 500 practice

The final practice session for Saturday night’s Bank of America 500 was led by Kyle Busch, who posted a fastest speed of 189.354 mph around Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch was the third different driver to lead a practice session for the race. Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch led the first two sessions.

Kyle Busch, who has never won a Sprint Cup race at Charlotte, was followed by Kurt Busch (188.996), Joey Logano (188.508), Ryan Newman (188.488) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (188.311). Earnhardt recorded the session’s most laps with 50.

The only two drivers in the top 10 who aren’t Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers are Jamie McMurray and Casey Mears.

Saturday’s race can been seen on NBC beginning at 7 pm ET.
