Unlike in football, you rarely get a good look at the helmets NASCAR drivers wear. But that doesn’t mean they can’t look cool.
Nationwide Insurance, a sponsor for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 Chevrolet, wants you to see Earnhardt’s. The helmet was revealed Wednesday on Twitter.
The design, bearing a skeleton theme, was designed by artist Nick Pastura.
The reveal of the helmet came in the middle of a 2016 promotional shoot for Nationwide. The production is taking place at Earnhardt’s home and it’s being chronicled on Twitter. He had a similar day two days ago for Hellmann’s, his sponsor in the Xfinity Series.
