Rockets waive F Akil Mitchell.
This move is very much procedural as Mitchell will now report to the Rockets’ D-League affiliate, the Rio Grande Vipers. Mitchell may get a chance to join the Rockets later in the season, but fantasy owners don’t need to commit his name to memory.
