  • Arvydas Sabonis scored 12 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter tonight, leading Portland to a win over the Indiana Pacers.
He added seven boards, four blocks, two assists and two steals in 29 minutes. If he played that much every night, he’d be worth owning. But as it stands now, he doesn’t get enough minutes to warrant serious consideration.
  • Arvydas Sabonis returned Wednesday, but he played just five minutes.
Sabonis, who missed one game with back spasms, did not score.
  • Arvydas Sabonis is questionable for tonight with the back spasms that kept him out of Game 4.
Sabonis did some shooting and light jogging on his own Tuesday, but he left practice early for more treatment.
